Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select

1 Posted by - 12/29/2013 - American, B Rated, Single Barrel, Tennessee Whiskey
I must admit I was a skeptic when I heard Jack would be our drink for the month. I’ve never had much stock in “higher end” versions of stuff that I usually mix drinks with. To our amazement Jack delivers with it’s single barrel. Since there is no blending, there is definitely a more robust flavor profile. Warning: it does make No.7 taste like water in comparison afterwards. Try it for yourself and leave a comment with your opinion.

Single Barrel is matured in the highest reaches of our barrelhouse, where the dramatic changes in temperature cause its color and taste to deepen further. We still hand select each barrel for its robust taste and notes of toasted oak, vanilla and caramel. — www.jackdaniels.com
